There I was...

So there I wasn't, waiting for my turn on a routine, and every disliked, speaking test, and I drew this guy completely out of my head. Just having some fun, not sure why, but I need to work on my speaking. I realize that the more I speak the better everything else is, I have been telling some tall tails in class to just simply practice my vocabulary, anyone who is experienced in this, I am asking for some confirmation that it is okay here to tell a white lie and or is it justifiable to fib a little in order to practice the new words? I love the language and the people that I work with and the culture is fascinating as it has shaped and been shaped so much by the language, as are so many other languages.

I don't remember where I saw it but it was a fun logo off of something, I had to send it through my hand and see it again. I tried to work on the horns a little extra and then started on the body, it was fun, I need to get back to studying, sure love all the inspiring words everyone has left on my blogs, thank you!

I am getting backed up on needing to draw, I have done some great homework. Lots of listening and that reminded me of how well my brother always did at what ever language he was trying to learn. I hope to someday do half as good as he does!

Getting in Trouble!

I got in trouble for drawing, sort of strange but that's what you get with different cultures, I had drawn the previous picture and shown it to the individual who was the model (he did know at the time). I don't think he liked it and made a few comments, but then later after class, he told me to take it off my computer and said that other students have drawn pictures of teachers and put bad words on the picture and he doesn't want that to happen again. So I logged off the blog and it was off the computer. I am working on memorizing more the the lessons and I hope this will help, I think it will, it worked the first time around with spanish. I know I need to get some more sleep, the tutor is really helping and I miss my family soooo much. I will try to draw some more around class as I get some good stress out, and I can just do some talking in target language while I talk. I just have to keep myself out of trouble with drawing "bad" pictures!

I am not sure who is getting stronger me as I try to hit the rock again and again or the rock at I feel it is starting to hit me with greater force with each attempt I make.
I don't know of a more dedicated educator in the sacrifice of his or her time than Ustez Eid. Thank you for all the work you give to the team.

the Tutor

I finally got a tutor, now I just need to take advantage of the opportunity. I have met with him and I know this is really going to help. I am excited to focus my work and be able to have a native english speaker to supliment the great instructors that I already have.

When I say the team mom I mean it as a compliment, as she was so helpful at the picnic, as he always is in and out of class, doing anything she can to help any student, not much different than any of the teachers but just cause she doesn't have a mustache she can be the mom!
Boy do I need to work on my vocab, I did a little on monday, now I need to stay up till ten or so tonight and get this down, it should be a horrible quiz tomorrow if I don't, wish me luck, and if you have any tips on how to improve my vocab retention let me know, please!
